If I would change my name (which i definitely won't!!!) it would be just changed to "daftpunk" instead of "Daft_Punk" :P

I don't think there's any reason to change your name: First of all, you chosed it.
Secondly it's your identity, each time you change your nam you change your identity.
Thirdly: n real life it isn't that easy neither to chang names.

I MAY change mine one day, as I am slowly converting my current BL username to my other one across the internet, but I don't think so. You all know me as Jim674 (if you actually know that I exist that is) and I don't intend on changing too soon.

GIS, that's just not a good idea.

I think if people want their names changed, they should be able to.

Not like they should do it often though, it IS a lot of trouble for JP.

GIS, you do know that this won't stop users from changing there anmes. If you keep leaving, one day BL will find a replacement admin.

I don't know if anyone noticed I was gone for a while but... in fact I was not gone, I was still here.
Just not logged in, for a full week.
For each person that get's his name changed I will strike by logging out for a full week.

A lot of people have been changing names lately...chris1 became chris3000, CHICKENMAN became Pineappledude and I became Hexicube. A lot of questions have been asked about how to change your name.

First of all I would NOT recommend doing this, as there may end up being a lot of confusion over who's who. Also, it involves asking JP, and he probably has enough to deal with and will not like it if everyone asks for a name change. You also need a valid reason, not "I feel like changing" or "I'm bored with my current one", and also I've been around the site for over 2 years now so I could consider this as a loyalty reward.

In short, don't ask JP for a username change, it confuses people and JP wont like it.
