Ferrari, have you used the number on top somehow? If not, then you miss a clue...

  I figured out most of it, thought I only found 2 checkpoints.

  But only you and gary solved it. You probably used a trick to solve it.

  Little help: these checkpoints are powered...but everything should be clear once you solve the puzzle... and first of all you have to realize where to find the puzzle :)

With hindside I must admit it is not very easy...

  I can't find the 5 checkpoints. Trust me, i've looked everywhere.
