Well, ATM am I trying to make a good ne, not fake, no artifacts. But maybe we will have to vote, who th best idea has.

JP, I'll create it if you want, but it would be nice if other people could have a turn. I use Powerpoint clip art with Fireworks as it doesn't have a background, just the image itself (the sign).

Jasper, you can try, and if it is good, I will upload it and see what JP thinks. :)

Well this was just a basic slide.
I use GIMP 2.6, the slide is not a screenshot, it's generated.

@Ferrari Old-Post: Meh, I use Windows Snipping Tool to get my images and use Adobe Fireworks to edit them.

Sorry for the people who congratulated me... I used up my limits... so thanks to those of you such as Gundu, Chris3000 and JP for congratulating me.

@Azz: Dropbox is good. And yes use a lossless format.. not jpg, jpeg or gif. Use either tiff or png.

Paint is a bad choice for slides;

1. Few tools. The tools in Paint simply doesn't cut it, unless you want to use hours on doing pixel-for-pixel painting.

2. No blending options. Blending is a must. Without blending, your image will look flat, and not very visually appealing. The .gif I posted below is basically based on blending. Not a single layer in there has no blending applied.

3. It shipped with your computer. That's a pretty clear sign that it's crap.

Get Gimp, it's free, and, while it takes a while to use, it's worth it.

A front page editor must be mature, master a graphic software like photoshop / paint shop pro. And likes to play all many levels. And be available. Designing the slides is very time cosuming.

so far I've added gundu and captain_404, I will add any other game developers in case they want to feature a level on front page. (like Gecko)

I think maybe oh_bebe could also do the job if she has time. And many others.

I think the good candidates for front page or those levels that are great but that can't be or are not yet officials.

gundu and Captain, you can access the slideshow admin from your profile page.

You can go on this topic to suggest the levels to be highlighted on front page.
