  Button tiles would be good, but i'm not sure whether they should be color neutral or specific. Or both might be useful? And i think buttons should become unpressed when the block leaves the tile. One more thing would be how to identify which button does what. Maybe some animation when the mouse hovers over a button. Hate figuring that out through trial and error.

  i like the idea ... maby not to make it official first but after there are some level u can see if its good or not?! :)

  Actually that would be very easy for me to do this as it's an option of the game (locked / unlocked). But I'm not sure yet if it's the best choice. I'm waiting other opinions before changing this.

  I wish we could skip levels and come back to them...Hexagon especially!

  Sure, a "Button" requires a block of the same color to be on it to create an efect... like getting rid of a wall; if the wall was in the way of solving the level you'd need to press the button in order to solve the level.

  Has anyone thought of "Buttons", color coded targets that make things disapear and appear... might make intresting levels... or not.

(sorry, i'm just not happy unless i know all the little details)

also... it would be nice if the unofficial levels could be marked as to whether they had already been played or not (maybe i'm missing this somewhere...)

  The small colored box indicates the status of the level (Gray = Not accepted, Pink = To be edited, Blue = Accepted and Yellow = Official) and the colored C indicates the category (Black = Easy, Red = Medium and Green = Hard). There is also a light blue/white square in between if you created the level.

  what do the little notations to the right of the level name mean (on the level select screen)? is there a legend/key for these somewhere?

  schnipfl, open the menu (red button at the bottom of the game) and use the "create" button.

  sound on / off added (burfy's feedback).
16 official levels now. All levels are great. I must say I'm a big fan of Psychotronic's levels (thx Psycho). When a level is "only" accepted, it doesn't mean it will not be official one day, it's just I'm not sure for now.
